University of Waterloo The International Master’s Award of Excellence is open to international students. The scholarship allows for a Master’s level program(s) in the field of all researched subjects taught at the University of Waterloo.
University of Waterloo-The International Master’s Certificate of Excellence is available at the University of Waterloo to pursue Masters Degree programs.
Under this scholarship program, the following subject is available for review.

Students of all nationalities apply.
Benefits on scholarship:
The scholarship award is priced at a maximum of 5 terms worth $2,500 per term.
Criteria for Eligibility:
Applicants must be foreign students with a valid Canadian study permit who are full-time enrolled and the foreign tuition fees calculated.
The scholarship will normally be awarded in research-based programs (thesis or major research paper) to students with a Masters’s degree.
Only students who enter their program’s first term are eligible.
Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence through the Faculty’s established criteria and must meet their program’s academic progress requirements and do not have outstanding probationary admission requirements.
Procedure to apply:
Students will be eligible automatically for this award based on their application for admission; therefore no separate application for a scholarship is necessary.
Departments and/or faculties must pick and appoint the candidates for the scholarship. Within January to February 2021, the application deadline for most Masters programs beginning September 2021 falls. For application deadlines unique to each Masters’s degree program see the official web site.
