International Entrance Scholarship at the University of Calgary is open to international students. The scholarship allows for a bachelor’s degree program in the field of all subjects taught at the University of Calgary.

The University of Calgary International Entrance Scholarship is a prestigious award that honors a foreign student’s exceptional achievements starting their university undergraduate studies in the fall term. The Scholarship criteria include not only academic excellence but also non-classroom accomplishments.
Nationalities qualified to participate:
International students who are not Canadian nationals or permanent Canadian residents.
Benefits on scholarship:
The scholarship is $15,000, renewable annually at the University of Calgary in the second, third, and fourth year, provided recipients attain a GPA of 2,60.
The cumulative undergraduate program cost of $60,000 for 4 years.
Criteria for Eligibility:
Applicants must be international students who are full-time registered in an undergraduate program that begins in the autumn term. They need to be new learners. An applicant will usually have to have a minimum GPA of 3.20 to be eligible for a scholarship.
They also have to meet the requirement of the university’s English Language Proficiency.
Procedure to apply:
The Foreign Entrance Scholarship submission deadline is 01-12-2020. The deadline to apply for admission in fall 2021 is standard admission (01-3-2021) and early admission (15-12-020).
